dr. Praeger’s Veggie Littles make it so easy to get your children to eat their vegetables. With great taste and fun shapes, your kids will love them, and you will love the healthy ingredients!
Recently, I was given the opportunity to collaborate with dr. Prager’s and their “Littles” line of products. The dr. Praeger’s Veggie Littles are designed with kids in mind. They come in four different flavors: Broccoli Littles, Spinach Littles, Kale Littles, and Sweet Potato Littles. All of them are gluten-free, soy-free and non-GMO. They also don’t contain any artificial ingredients, which is fantastic. Plus, I was able to buy them at our local Walmart store. You can find out which stores near you carry them by checking this link.
Who is dr. Praeger’s?
According to their website:
Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods® was founded in 1994 with the mission to bring delicious frozen food to everyone.
It’s not every day that two heart surgeons get into the food business, but over 20 years ago that’s exactly what our dads did. Motivated by what they saw in their practice, our parents set out on a mission to encourage sensible eating. They knew ingredients had to be nutritious and simple, that everything had to be delicious, and that their products needed to be super simple to make. While the world has changed since our little family business first got started, our focus remains true to our dads’ vision and we work every day to make them proud.
Sounds pretty great to me, doesn’t it?
Eat your Veggies, kids!
Luckily, my kids don’t normally have trouble eating their vegetables, but the winter months can often be a challenge. Here in the northeast, the options for fresh, local produce are limited during the winter. Finding good substitutes, however, is important to me. Thankfully, dr. Praeger’s Veggie Littles is an awesome choice. They are easy to prepare, ours took just 10 minutes in the oven, plus, they offer microwave and skillet cooking options as well. Plus, my kids loved them. And, with a serving size of five bites, my kids weren’t complaining about being hungry 35 seconds after they finished eating them.
