  • My husband just found these pizza crusts at Walmart! I’m so excited to give them a try!
  • Last week, I mentioned not feeling well. Well, according to my @Fitbit, my heat rate jumped much higher than usual, and then dropped much lower than usual. These changes coincided with dizzy spells. While I don’t know exactly what was going on yet, it’s really nice to be able to bring this information to my doctor. When you have chronic illness, the more information you can bring, the better.
  • I’m home alone for the first time in basically nearly seven years. I volunteered this morning at the elementary school to help with picture day but got home earlier than expected, so I’m sitting on the couch with my feet up watching a grown up television show and eating lunch before I need to pick up the preschoolers!!!! Don’t tell on me!!
  • When you have chronic illness, this is what putting your health first looks like some days. I’ve been having a lot of symptoms of severe dehydration for a few days, which is entirely common with diabetes insipidus, but still a bit scary. I try hard to keep my symptoms in check and this is the worst flare up I’ve had in years. So, there will be extra rest until this passes. I don’t have to like it, but I do have to accept it.

  • My baby started preschool this week. I ruined my favorite workout shorts. I spent two hours at the dentist today getting my teeth drilled. I’m cranky and hangry and I wanted some darn ice cream. This stuff isn’t paleo, but it is Macro Friendly and actually good. Like, delicious. And I don’t mean, “delicious for healthier ice cream,” I mean actually delicious.

  • I slept like junk last night. I had to be up much earlier than I was ready for this morning. I spent my morning thinking about taking a nap. Once the big kids were at school, though, I cleaned the house, put on my workout clothes and got my workout on. Not because I wanted to, not because I felt like it, not because I was motivated, but because I have discipline. Motivation might help you get started, but it tends to disappear when things get hard. Create discipline. Create habits, and commit to yourself the same way to commit to everyone else in your life.
  • I’ve been meal prepping all afternoon, so dinner was a bowl full of some of this and some of that. Super Greens from @bjswholesale, baked chicken breast, bacon crumbles, and topped with some blue cheese crumbles. Super easy and the kids are eating it. 😉
